Lots of smiles

“It matters not if you are here, or there, for I see you before me every moment. I see you in the light on the water, in the swaying of the young trees in the spring wind. I see you in the shadows of the great oaks, I hear you voice in the cry of the owl at night. You are the blood in my veins, and the beating of my heart. You are my first waking thought and my last sigh before sleeping. You are - you are the bone of my bone, and the breath of my breath.”
~ Daughter of the Forest: Juliet Marillier

Wow…
The haze is almost gone… then again, it could decide to make a come back… Shesh…
Better enjoy the weather while it lasts…
Anyone wanna go out? :D

Bah… time to do a bit of backtracking… my brain is kinda rusty… blame it on the haze xp

Ok… Friday was filled with pillows and the computer… I got up late and slacked online for the longest time… and I slept late, which was not a very good idea coz I had to wake up early on Saturday for tuition.
Which I did. And went. After which a cab I had to take from AMK to Whampoa.
Photography and filming filled the afternoon.
Very proud of my friends who took part in the course for that day.
Congrats on your results guys~! :D
-throws confetti all over the place-

The course wrapped late that night.
But I went home later than that, coz we ended up at PS supposedly to watch a movie but ended up chilling at Starbucks.
Chat, make new friend, get phone call and freak out.
Yes, I did.
-tries to hide face-
Had to ask for a lift home.
-forehead palm-
Thanks Bern!

Sunday morning, half zombie-fied.
Made my way out of the house, only to find that I forgot to bring my wallet.
That resulted in me having to take a bus to church and being late.
-hits head against wall-
lead PnW and taught lesson. Which I did not get to finish.
So this Sunday, I will be concluding my lesson.
Alamak!
Haven finished preparation… siao liao… x.xlll
-runs round the house mad-

I always find myself wondering if I am teaching the lessons the right way and if the examples I give to the kids are applicable to them. I haven been teaching for very long, but I find it a challenge and I am kinda tired of doing PnW. It’s a wrong mindset, yes I know… guess I need an overhaul aye?
Upgrades anyone?
I haven been fairing very well in the PnW department either.
Was talking to Veron the other day and she commented that someone told her I am lagging in that area. The whole session is too choppy, among other things.
Something wrong.
Better get God to fix it.
As of this year, I have been in BCM for close to 8 or more years, and that is not counting the years I was not serving.
Some things need a cup to coffee to wake them up.
I am still praying for my cuppa to come along.
-hits head against the wall again-

Ok, I digress…
Made my way from church to Whampoa to help with photography once more.
This time round, I made sure I took more single shots and close-ups.
I am very thankful for the chance to mix two of my passions together. :)
I do wonder if I would make a good photographer in the future.
Heh…
The course was tiring for everyone.
I shall keep my comments to myself. :X

Had to rush off early in order to get ready for Karen’s Wedding.
Had to cab down, but I guess it was worth it coz I made it in time.
And the fact that I was wearing a dress did add to the good point. ;p
Jill was the first one there.
Followed by me, then Sian li and Miao Jun.
Sian Li and I took pictures like … erm… Crazy… hahahaha~

Yes, my club’s first president’s finally gotten herself hitched.
Congrats Karen!
Hope you have a wonderfully blessed life ahead! :)

Monday’s lecture, I was not as bonked out as I was in the previous one.
Thank God.
I survived the morning and afternoon teachers.
Hehe… no mean feat, considering how tired I was.
For the first time this year, I took a break from training.
Oh gosh, I cannot believe that I was relieved that I had decided to take a breather.
You know what?
My knees were thanking me.
But my shoes were not.
They were ‘-‘ close to dying on me when I got home.
Bleah.
Had a good evening anyway.
Managed to get my planning and packing done. ;)

Tuesday morning.
Bright and early.
¾ zombie.
Went to school only to find that my MM lecture got cancelled.
Poor Phil called in sick.
And I (plus others) made the trip to school in vain.
With the power of technology: notified the rest that lesson was cancelled.
The general consensus was: What the~ (because most of them were already more than half way to school)

What I thank God for was that the morning was not a waste.
I spent it with Shi Min and Aziz.
We had breakfast at Clementi Central.
I have found another good Beef noodle store!
Hoooo~!
Studied at SP for a while before heading home, by the long route mind you…
I seriously gotta care a lot about that fella to take the MRT with him to that area… hahah…

Knocked flat out when I got home.
Delivered the Birthday girl her presents before bee-lining to cell group.
Made it home in one piece.
Happy Birthday Winnie!~ :D

Wednesday… the one day I was waiting for… coz of Monday’s break.
Have to make up for the kicks I missed out on.
Heehee~
And it was also Yang Theng’s debut on the singing arena.
You did wonderfully girl~! :)
-waves pompoms all over the place-

Kicking was not too bad.
Though my knee started to throb half way through… but we made it in the end no? :)
No time, for poomsae, rush down to Kovan.
Settled some CC stuff, added some new stuff to my duties/roster, kicked a bit more, taught poomsae (O-jang) and, last but not least, surprised the Birthday Boy!
Hope you enjoyed yourself Bernard! :)

Today.
Ah… Aarvin was late for class… hai… but at least we had fun in the end… haha… he’s never fails to keep me awake during the lecture… hahah… laugh like crazy, but have to dio internal injury coz I don wan to disturb the class… haha…
Sad news though, William will be teaching his final lecture next Thursday :(
Hai… just when I have gotten used to his teaching style, he decides he wants to go back into the corporate world.
Have to jia bei nu li…
-battle cry-

Class ended.
Aziz, Aarvin and Paul went to M’sia for a break.
I had lunch with Yvonne, Karen and Jason.
Then, I spend the rest of the afternoon running errands.
From Ngee Ann Poly, back to SIM.
Got the Goong comics from Julia. Thanks girl~ :)
Then to Raffles City and Suntec.
Went to Marks and Spencer to check out a pair of shoes.
Suntec level 6: the Eco-Product fair.
I got myself lost in the hall. Wondering around the booths, talking to the people about the environmentally friendly items.
From photocopiers to air-cons; monorails to skincare products and organic food.
It was an interesting experience.
And eye-opening one as well.
Thank God I didn’t get suckered into spending money today.
-hysterical laughter-

I got my bum home and I have been sitting in front of the computer ever since.
Yikes!
Oh yeah… sorry for the lagging in loading the pictures… have been taking so many lately… gosh… it’s a mountain… not joking man… but a good, fun mountain :)
Can’t wait to get everything compiled :D

Yueling~!
How did the application go?
Whatcha got on for tomorrow?
I pass you the vids want?
:)

See Hwa~!
Have a safe trip ya?
Don’t get yourself sunburned too much ok?

Parv-mama~!
When you going to be free??
I waiting to choop time with you lor… feel like taking out some tissues and plastering them onto you…

Aight… I have to get back to my notes… let’s see if I am successful ya?
-psychotic laughter-
^-^
